What are the Odds?
It is the VIRTUAL REEL set up, what influences the odds of hitting a particular symbol or combination of symbols in a modern slot machine. Putting it another way, the odds of hitting a particular image on the real reel depend on how many virtual stops match the real stop.
Taking a typical WEIGHTED slot machine into account, the top jackpot stop ( the one with the highest-paying jackpot image ) for each reel matches only one virtual stop. Consequently, the chance of hitting the jackpot image on one reel is 1 in 64.
When all three reels will set up in the same way, the chances of hitting the jackpot image on all three reels is 1 in 64³, or 262 144.
The losing BLANK STOPS above and below the jackpot may match more virtual stops than any other images.
PAYBACK PERCENTAGE is the percentage of the money that is put in and finally paid out to the player. It is very important feature and the program responsible for achieving it must be carefully designed and tested. Let’s take that the payout percentage in a certain casino is 90%. In this situation, the casino gets 10 percent of all money inserted into the slot machine and give away the other 90 percent. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that casino is always the winner.
